Today is a very special and significant day for Nanango paramedic Lisa.
One year ago to the day, our South Burnett officer had open heart surgery and scarily went into cardiac arrest, getting revived andenduring a long road to recovery.
Having recently returned to full operational duties in the small country town, her wonderful colleagues paramedic Luke and Officer in Charge Jeana couldn’t resist acknowledging this anniversary with a very specifically designed cake.
We’re not so sure the CPR was effective on this sweet treat, but the sentiment was not lost on Lisa.
We’re so glad to see you well and healthy now and that you’ve got a tight-knit support group at your Nanango station, Lisa. Welcome back!
