School land swap mulled to ease Brisbane’s green space concerns




The Queensland government is considering a land swap with Brisbane City Council to address objections around a loss of green space under the latest site proposed for an inner-west primary school.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced last year about $65 million had been allocated for the new school, one of four for the state’s south-east, with an initial round of consultation revealing community opposition to the preferred site within the grounds of Indooroopilly State High School.
