Qld on alert after positive COVID-19 case visited airport DFO and Brisbane CBD

Queensland is again on high alert after a flight crew member who visited multiple sites around Brisbane on Saturday tested positive to COVID-19.

The crew member tested negative three times while in hotel quarantine but returned a positive result on Saturday night, hours after she was allowed back into the community.

In the hours before the positive result, the woman travelled by private car to the city, the DFO at Brisbane airport and the Portuguese Family Centre in the south-west suburb of Ellen Grove.

Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said the most likely source of the case was a passenger on board a June 5 Emirates flight to Brisbane from Dubai who was infected…
