Police dig under water tank on Francis Wark’s former property in search for Hayley Dodd’s body




Police in Western Australia searching for Hayley Dodd’s body are focusing on an area they have never examined before — underneath a large water tank — at the former property of her killer, Francis Wark. 

Hayley Dodd was 17 years old when she was last seen alive walking along a remote road near Wark’s Badgingarra property, in WA’s Wheatbelt region in 1999. 

In March, Wark was found guilty by a jury of manslaughter and was later sentenced to 18 years in jail for the offence.

Hayley’s body has never been found.
